Ask and you WILL Receive!

Those of you who have been with me for a while now, will know how passionate I am around the subject of ‘ask and you shall receive’. This quote comes directly out of the Bible (Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to him who knocks”).

My friends, please, please get this. No matter whether you are a Christian, another religion or not religious or spiritual at all, these words are for all of us. It doesn’t say ask and we’ll think about it, or maybe if xyz happens then maybe you will receive...it’s very clear... ask and you WILL receive, period!

I have so many examples I could share with you around the power of these words and how true they are (but those I will share in my book I’m finally about to commence writing...yeah, haha) but for now, I will give you this amazing example, which happened just two days ago.

With my relocation to the Gold Coast and choosing to have my clinic separate from my home, as Ive had previously, I am ready to recommence my one day Bars Workshops and require suitable premises to hold them from. Whilst thinking about this, friends of mine, who I haven’t seen for several years and who live on the coast and do their own different healing seminars and workshops, came into my awareness. Without going any further, I simply asked ‘what will it take for me to re-connect with (their names) with total ease?’. I then let it go. A few hours later that very same day, I was meeting up with a friend at Maddisons (a great cafe in Broadbeach). She arrived before me, and to my absolute delight and amazement, happened to be sitting at a table right next to these very friends of mine whom I had asked just hours previously, to be reconnected with! Talk about the power of asking! We all had a brief wonderful re-acquaintance, exchanged contact details, hugged and then they were gone! If I had been even 5 minutes later in arriving, I would have missed them altogether. Even they themselves said they hadn’t been down to Broadbeach for a very long time.

Was it my asking that manifested them, or had Universe previously orchestrated them to come to Maddisons, my friend to invite me to join her for lunch at the exact right time and then had her sit exactly where she did (Maddisons has a huge seating area) and then also placed them into my thoughts, to allow this incredible sequence of events and seeming synchronicity to actualize perfectly??

It’s such a seeming simple example, but it was answered with such ease for me. I’m sure the story won’t end here either, as I’m sure when I now go and meet up with my friends, there will be more for us all, that we’re not even aware of yet.

So I leave you with this simple word, please use it. It is very powerful and it will work for all of us who will use it.

‘ASK...’ you shall receive.
